Stanford Pre-Orientation Trips (SPOT)

…are immersive experiences that take place the week before New Student Orientation and are designed to ease the transition of students to life at Stanford as well as foster Stanford Identity, community, and personal growth through activity, self-reflection, and mentorship.

SPOT Purpose

Our purpose is to provide a foundational immersive experience that cultivates Stanford Identity by fostering student engagement and personal growth.

SPOT 2013

Welcome Stanford Class of 2017!  The dates for SPOT 2013 are Wednesday, September 11 to Tuesday, September 17. All of the slots for SPOT 2013 have been filled, but you still have a chance to go on a trip!  Follow the red “REGISTER” link (at the top right of this page), to add your name to the wait list.  When and if slots open up, we will fill them from the wait list, which will be ranked based on the date (and time) that you add your name as soon as possible.  Be sure to comb the links to the right for important dates, FAQs and pertinent information!  For 2013, there will be three trip types:
