Stanford Pre-Orientation Trips (SPOT)
…are immersive experiences that take place the week before New Student Orientation and are designed to ease the transition of students to life at Stanford as well as foster Stanford Identity, community, and personal growth through activity, self-reflection, and mentorship.
Welcome Stanford Class of 2018! SPOT 2014 will run Wednesday, September 10 to Tuesday, September 16.
The Registration window for SPOT 2014 closed June 27. Acknowledgment of lottery placement is intended to go out by July 9. Feel free to sign-up for the waitlist by clicking the Registration button to the right ! As always, contact us if you have questions!
Last year, everyone who entered the lottery received a trip-placement! Be sure to comb the links to the right for important dates, FAQs and pertinent information! For 2014, there will be multiple trip types:
- Wilderness Backpacking
- Service Learning: Social Justice (Food Justice & Urban Agriculture)
